The Animals’ Ballet Vol.1 is the first part of Beate Marion Willma’s The Animals’ Ballet - a collection of twelve pieces for piano (four hands) inspired by the art work of Danish artist Hans Scherfig.
Volume 1 includes the following 6 pieces:
Elephants on their way
Two Lions
Gibbons
The Baby Hippo
Jungle Pond with Crocodiles
Two Flamingos
In the book, each piece is introduced by a short poetic text written by Beate Marion Willma. The book also includes an introduction to how the music can be used to teach piano students different techniques and translations of the poetic texts into Danish, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
